You should have all the facts before you choose a dive center to trust. Here are some of the most common questions we get from people looking to dive with us.
Yes, you need to be a certified diver to participate in fun diving. Koh Tao offers diving for all certification levels, so whether you're Open Water certified or have advanced training, there are dive sites suitable for you.
A typical fun dive on Koh Tao includes a guided dive with a certified dive professional, who will lead you to explore the diverse marine life, coral reefs, and underwater landscapes that make the island famous.
Dive sites on Koh Tao cater to various skill levels. Depths can vary, but many dive sites are suitable for Open Water Divers and range from 12 meters (40 feet) to 18 meters (60 feet). For more experienced divers, there are deeper sites available from 30 to 40 meters.
While it's not always necessary to book in advance, especially during non-peak times, it's advisable to let us know when you are planning to come to dive with us to secure your spot and have the best experience.
