You should have all the facts before you choose a dive center to trust. Here are some of the most common questions we get from people looking to dive with us.
The PADI Bubblemaker Diving Course is an introductory scuba diving experience designed for children aged 8 to 10 years old. It provides a safe and fun environment for kids to explore the underwater world with the guidance of a PADI professional. The course is specifically tailored to introduce children to the basics of scuba diving in a pool setting, allowing them to experience the thrill of breathing underwater and enjoy the wonders of the aquatic realm.
No prior scuba diving experience or certification is required for children to participate in the PADI Bubblemaker course. This program is designed as an entry-level experience for kids who are curious about scuba diving. PADI Instructors conduct the course in a confined water setting, such as a swimming pool, and provide all the necessary equipment and instruction to ensure a safe and enjoyable introduction to the underwater environment.
The PADI Bubblemaker course is not a certification course; it's an introductory experience. It serves as a fun and supervised introduction to scuba diving concepts and skills. While it doesn't lead to an official certification, it can spark an interest in further scuba diving education. For open water diving, children typically progress to programs like the PADI Seal Team and eventually the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course, designed for those 10 to 14 years old, which provides a formal scuba diving certification allowing for open water dives with certain depth limitations.
